Our mission
We help great teams make the digital world better for all people and for our planet. We do this by embedding knowledge, establishing sustainable strategies and providing support that help them to design and build digital products and services that don’t exclude people or cost the planet.
We work best with purpose-driven organisations, ethical brands and good causes. We love to help open up and amplify the work that they do, and we want everyone to be free to benefit from it.

Using tech for good has always been at the heart of our work. We’ve been making the digital world more accessible for nearly 20 years, but as we’ve evolved, our values and ethos have become core to the work we do.

As It Should Be was founded on responsible business principles with purpose at its core. These principles for being an honest and fair business, a responsible employer, and a good citizen – based on the Blueprint for Better Business – are woven into the fabric of our company, embedded in our company’s Articles of Association.
We are a young business with good roots
We’re a growing team of digital professionals with a passion for accessibility and having a positive impact on the world. We are seasoned coders, testers and trainers who have worked on websites, mobile apps, video and audio content, PDF documents and more for brands around the world and in a variety of sectors.
We’re proud to be a Certified B Corporation® and to be supporting non-profits working hard to protect our planet and improve people’s lives.
We care about looking after the planet we all live on, so we have declared a climate and nature emergency and have made commitments to hold ourselves accountable to meaningful and positive impact.
